One app for registration, availability, fair-play match planning, offline live stats and training β so volunteer coaches spend less time on admin and more time on football.
Admin apps organise. Coaching tools track. Half-Time FC does both, built fair-play-first and safe with children's data from the ground up.
Yes / No / Maybe for every match and training. Parents can mark a whole season available in one tap; coaches nudge whoever hasn't replied.
Pick your formation, place players in every slot, and rename position labels to match how you coach β RW, CM, CB rather than a generic "MF".
Fair play isn't a separate screen β it's a running total of minutes across the whole match. Plan it before kickoff and watch it update as subs actually happen.
Start the clock, log goals, assists, saves and cards, and run subs with a timer β all with no signal. Fix a wrong scorer or a missed time after the fact.
Set the session length and Half-Time FC suggests a warm-up, drills, a small-sided game and cool-down β then you edit any block to suit your squad.
Every player added by their parent or guardian, with the contact details, allergies and medical conditions coaches need β encrypted and permission-gated.
Set the venue by dropping a pin on Google Maps, add the referee, and list what's on site β parking, toilets, tuck shop β then share a clean page with the opposition.
Club admins set up teams; every team has a coach and an assistant coach. Everyone sees exactly what their role allows β nothing more.
A child's record follows them if they move clubs, so their stats and story aren't trapped. Each club keeps its own history; the guardian sees the full picture.
Parents care intensely about equal playing time. Half-Time FC treats it as a live calculation across the whole match β broken into quarters or eighths, with a slot for every player in each β so no one's forgotten on the bench.
Split the game the way your league plays it, with named slots for players in every segment.
Change who's on and the minutes recalculate instantly, so the plan always reflects what's actually been played.
Rename slots to how you talk β RW, CM, CB β instead of a one-size "MF" tag.
Permissions are enforced by role, not just hidden β because this app holds children's data.
Sets up and edits clubs and teams, assigns coaches, manages sponsors and oversees safeguarding and data requests.
Adds clubs & teamsRun the roster, match plans, fair-play minutes, live match events and training. Every team needs both a coach and an assistant.
Plans & logs the matchRegisters their child, confirms availability, and views their child's team, stats and match reports β view-only, always.
View-only for their childOpens one shared match page: ground, map, kickoff, kit and referee β logistics only, no login, and never any child's details.
No personal dataPlan at home in the browser, then run the whole match one-handed on your phone β even with no signal.
Full planning in any browser β ideal for setting up the season on a laptop or tablet.

Half-Time FC ("we", "us", "our") provides an app and website that help grassroots youth football clubs manage registration, availability, match planning, live match stats, training and communication. For the personal data described in this policy, the data controller is [legal entity name and registered address β to confirm]. You can reach our data protection contact at [[email protected] β to confirm].
Half-Time FC is used to organise football for children. We take that responsibility seriously and have designed the product around data minimisation, strong access controls and safeguarding:

Under UK GDPR we rely on the following bases:
Access is controlled by role and enforced on our servers, not merely hidden in the app:
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run Half-Time FC (for example hosting, notifications and error monitoring), each under a data-processing agreement and, where required, appropriate safeguards. A current list of sub-processors is available on request. We host and store personal data in the UK/EU region [to confirm].
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Shareable opposition match pages auto-expire (around one month after the match). Player records are retained while a child is associated with a club and for a defined period afterwards [retention periods to confirm], then deleted or anonymised. When a guardian requests erasure, we remove the data we are not legally required to keep.
Under UK GDPR you (or a guardian on a child's behalf) can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal data, and can object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent. Half-Time FC includes self-service data export and erasure. To exercise your rights, use the in-app tools or contact [[email protected] β to confirm]. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
A child's record is guardian-owned and can move with them if they change clubs. Each club only sees the history built at that club; the guardian sees the full cross-club picture. Transfers are initiated and approved by the guardian.
Our website uses only essential cookies and privacy-first analytics that do not track children across the web or feed advertising networks. [Full cookie details to confirm.]
We may update this policy and will change the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
